CODAC Behavioral Health has announced that it is partnering with Thrive Behavioral Health and BH Link to offer medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder in Rhode Island.
Founded in 1971, CODAC has provided MAT services in Rhode Island for more than 40 years, and is the state’s longest-running not-for-profit outpatient OUD treatment provider.
BH Link is a 24/7 emergency triage facility for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises, including substance use disorder. CODAC is now on site at BH Link seven days a week, offering same-day induction on MAT for individuals with opioid use disorder, while also offering assistance to individuals struggling with other substance use disorders (alcohol, stimulants).
CODAC is also in the process of launching an opioid treatment program at Thrive, a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center in Warwick, Rhode Island. The program is aimed at reducing barriers to care for individuals with co-occurring mental health disorders by making comprehensive treatment available at one location.
