A busy week for Discovery Behavioral Health continues.
Days after opening an adolescent program in Southern California, the company on Thursday announced that it has acquired New Hope Ranch, an addiction and mental health services provider in the greater Austin, Texas, area. New Hope Ranch joins Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program, an intensive outpatient center in downtown Austin and Center for Discovery, an outpatient eating disorder program in the city’s Clarksville neighborhood.
New Hope Ranch, located in Manor, Texas, is a residential treatment center that provides prevention, assessment, treatment and reintegration services for patients with substance use disorders. Joe Tinervin, MSW, division president for Discovery, said in a news release that the acquisition of New Hope is “an excellent geographical fit with services that are complementary” to the company’s existing programs in the area.
