A pair of providers under the Embark Behavioral Health banner are combining forces, as Calo Young Adults and Fulshear Treatment to Transition on Tuesday announced a partnership to increase the reach of Fulshear’s adult attachment model.
“The partnership of these two programs marks the realization of a dream to expand access to the Fulshear adult attachment model regionally and to all genders,” Fulshear Programs CEO Nikki Garza, LCSW, said in a news release. “This union is a natural step, taking advantage of the powerful synergy between the Fulshear and Calo team to help young adults develop healthy attachments and create a personal design for their life.”
Fulshear provides residential treatment and transitional living for young adult women, using a therapeutic model to address emotional, social and behavioral issues to prepare patients for healthy independence. Calo Young Adults is a transitional emerging adult program based in Winchester, Virginia.
As part of the deal, Calo Young Adults will now be known as Fulshear Treatment to Transition East and serve all genders. The Fulshear program in Houston will now operate as Fulshear Treatment to Transition South and continue to provide care for young adult women.
