New Vista, a central Kentucky-based provider of mental health, substance use, and intellectual and developmental disabilities services, announced that CEO Paul R. Beatrice is retiring at the end of 2020.
Beatrice, a 35-year industry veteran, has served in New Vista’s top executive position since 2014. During his tenure, New Vista grew its staff by 53%. The company now employs more than 2,000 professionals. New Vista offers more than 106 programs for children, adults and families at 55 locations in Kentucky.
“During Paul's tenure as CEO, New Vista has met the challenges of an ever-changing healthcare landscape while staying true to our mission to serve Kentuckians who have limited resources to meet their behavioral health needs,” Linda Watt, chair of the New Vista Board of Directors, said in a news release. “New Vista is well-positioned for sustainability and future growth as the result of Paul's dedication and innovative leadership.”
A multi-month search for Beatrice’s successor will begin shortly. New Vista said in the release that it expects to announce a new CEO prior to Beatrice’s departure.
