Recovery Centers of America on Monday announced that it has promoted Dawn Belamarich, LPC, LCADC, ACS, to the role of CEO of RCA at Lighthouse, a 133-bed inpatient substance use disorder treatment center in Mays Landing, New Jersey. Belamarich succeeds David Dorschu, who is taking on the role of chief executive at RCA’s newest East Coast facility, RCA at Raritan Bay in South Amboy, New Jersey.
Belamarich joined RCA at Lighthouse in 2017, first serving as clinical director and then as executive director with clinical and operational oversight of residential and detox programs. She has also founded a community mental health and substance use disorder counseling program and has spent 10 years with Family Service Association of New Jersey, leading community-based programming as the organization’s vice president of family and community development.
She is the successor to Dorschu, who served as CEO at Lighthouse since 2016 and helped grow specialized addiction programming, adding a trauma, Christian, LGBTQ and first responder programs, as well as programming for individuals who have relapsed and those over 50.
