Sound, a mental health and addiction treatment services provider based in suburban Seattle, announced on Wednesday that it has completed an acquisition of the assets of Community Psychiatric Clinic. The two organizations first announced their intent to merge in April.
Sound president and CEO Patrick Evans will continue in that role with the new, combined organization, while Community Psychiatric Clinic CEO Doug Crandall will take on the position of chief quality and compliance officer.
Sound is in the midst of an expansion that is projected to culminate with the organization operating 17 locations that serve more than 26,000 patients in the region, providing mental health, addiction treatment, supportive housing, vocational, and other healthcare services. Programs will serve patients ranging from those who are Medicaid-eligible to those with private insurance.
