Averhealth Receives Investment from Five Arrows Capital Partners

August 01, 2019

Earlier this month, private equity firm Five Arrows Capital Partners completed an equity recapitalization of Averhealth, a substance use disorder treatment monitoring, care management and related support services provider that primarily works with individuals on behalf of criminal justice and judicial treatment programs.

The investment will allow Averhealth to continue offering its services to substance use treatment, monitoring, adherence and testing programs while expanding its footprint and service offerings.

Averhealth was represented in the deal by BB&T Capital Markets managing director David Keys and vice president Sean Bielawski, with legal advice provided by attorney Geoffrey Cockrell and associate Alyssa Campbell of McGuire Woods. Five Arrows, which focuses on middle-market companies in healthcare, business services, data and software, and technology-enabled services, was advised by James Epstein, Joseph Kadlec and James Hipolit of Pepper Hamilton.
