A week after announcing a new CEO, Nashville, Tennessee-based Newport Academy has added a new property to its portfolio. The operator of adolescent and young adults treatment centers has acquired Gray Wolf Ranch in Washington state.
Gray Wolf has treated more than 1,500 young men with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The center offers residential treatment, as well as extended care and a sober living environment. The program combines clinical treatment, wilderness therapy, experiential programming and academic instruction.
In a news release announcing the deal, Newport Academy said it plans to expand Gray Wolf’s residential treatment offerings on its campus, which spans more than 20 acres in Olympic Peninsula.
