Robins’ Nest Inc., Cape Counseling Services and NewPoint Behavioral Health Care announced this week they will merge under a new name, effective July 1. FamCare Inc. will also join the new organization as an affiliate, sharing its infrastructure and services.
The resulting new entity will serve more than 27,000 clients at 56 locations in New Jersey, using an integrated care model.
Robins’ Nest is a private, not-for-profit children’s services organization offers community-based residential and in-home programming to ensure the safety of children and enhance their well-being in a family setting. Also a private, not-for-profit, Cape Counseling provides behavioral health services for adults, children, adolescents and families. Not-for-profit NewPoint provides a variety of residential and outpatient mental health services and programs for adults, youth and families. The inclusion of FamCare as an affiliate organization will add reproductive health and education services to the new organization’s offerings.
Robins’ Nest president and CEO Anthony DiFabio, PsyD, will remain in the same role with the new merged organization. Cape Counseling CEO Greg Speed will take on the role of chief integration officer and NewPoint CEO John Zukauskas will become an executive consultant. FamCare executive director and CEO Kathie Nixon’s title will remain unchanged.
